Please be aware that we do not currently have any open funding calls for the OPTions Initiative. However, this does not preclude the possibility of future funding opportunities if additional resources become available.
Funding Information
The OPTions Initiative primarily funds innovations through grants but is also able to deploy risk capital aligned to the stage and need of each unique innovator.
We typically provide up to $250,000 CAD for innovations that improve access to existing methods of safe pregnancy termination and $400,000 CAD are available for innovations that seek to test and develop next-generation methods of pregnancy termination, menses induction, or conception interruption. Funding is provided over an 18-to-24 month period, and funds requested should be commensurate with the activities proposed.
Please note that applications are only accepted in French and English due to limitations in the review process.

Please note that any application sent via email will not be considered. All applications must be submitted through the Fluxx Portal; this is only possible when there is an open funding opportunity.
